Baby Showers

Last weekend I had my final baby shower. Everyone has been amazingly generous in getting us ready with the things we need for our little one. It has been overwhelming and humbling, but wonderful to see so many friends and family.

My second shower was in Naperville. It was thrown by Nancy Nyberg, Allison Ferwerda, Linda Dolan, Stacy Peterson, Debbie Jurgensen, and Laura Dunlap


Last weekend was my final shower in Kalamazoo. Branden's sisters, Jody, Julie and Jenna threw it. Thanks to Jody, Julie and Aunt Bev for coming in from out of town. It was so fun to see everyone.

Preparing for Baby

The baby finally has a place to lay her head at night. We can't wait to bring her home to her new room. Hopefully it will inspire many sleepy nights (Wishful thinking, we know)

Happy 2009

As Branden and I anticipate the birth of our first daughter in about 2 months, we decided we should join the tech saavy and create a blog so that those dear to us could remain updated on our family. We are excited for all God has in store for us in the coming year and can't wait to share all of the joys with our friends and family. Stay tuned...
